Pantene Pro V Colour Care Range

Monday, November 22, 2010

I really like Pantene hair products. I really loved their aqua light range as it left my hair lovely and soft. So I spotted these in my local superdrug and decided to give them a go.

I recently dyed my hair red using a semi permanent dye which fades really, really fast! So I thought that if I used a specific colour care shampoo and conditioner it might fade a little slower.
I dyed my hair last Sunday and the red is still visible, the colour does run each time I wash it but I think this is due to it being a semi permanent dye.

I usually wash my hair every other day as my hair takes aggggges to dry, anyways today I was too tired to wash my hair and it looks and feels rank! I think that maybe there is too much product build up to be honest. But this can be reversed by using another Pantene product which is the clarifying shampoo.. I'll maybe do a post on that at a later date.

So far I am pleased, my hair is shiny and healthy and so far the colour is keeping, I will continue to use it and see how it goes. I don't know if maybe this product might work better with permanent hair dye? I will keep using this though and keep you updated how it's going :)

  1. I might try this out. I recently dyed my hair black using a permenant dye and have been using a colour protecting shampoo and conditioner from loreal elvive and the colour still runs, maybe this might help :)
