My HairCare Routine.

My hair is very long and very thick. I try to keep it in good condition ( even though sometimes it looks like rats tails!)

A lot of people ask if my hair is extensions ( inc Cheryl Cole ;)) It's something that a lot of people compliment me on and lately I have discovered some really great hair products that make your hair shiny and soft, which is always a winner in my eyes!

If you read my blog regularly, you will know that lately I have been having a flirt with red/plum hair, which surprise surprise I am now bored of. I don't know if it's the fact that every single girl at the moment is dying their hair red and it's a little common or the fact that when Cheryl did hers, everyone said it looked cheap.

I've been using these products to wash my hair and they're great.

Toni and Guy Red Brunette shampoo and conditioner-This stuff I think is great- it really has kept the red in my hair, the last time I dyed was almost four weeks ago and the colour has hardly faded which is really good. However yes it is great for keeping colour and adding shine but it is blimmin messy! This gets up the walls, on the tiles, everywhere which isn't good in a white bathroom. Also you don't get a lot of product for your money so I mix them with other shampoos and conditioners.

Pantene Clarifying Shampoo- This stuff is just fab. I feel with Toni and Guy that the main aim is to keep the colour not to actually clean, so I mix the shampoo with this clarifying shampoo and I know that my hair will be squeaky clean. It removes build up, it's fab, I use it pretty much every time I wash my hair as it's not harsh to the hair and just leaves it really clean.

Pantene Colour Protect & Smooth Conditioner- This is one of the new Pantene range and again it's another Pantene product that I cannot fault. It leaves my hair shiny, soft and full of colour still. I am eager to try the new colour seal concentrate.

Finally Teknique Coconut Conditioner- I got this from Sally's the beauty outlet for about £1.99 I think. It comes in a huge bottle and is perfect for someone like me who covers their hair in conditioner. Even though it's cheap, it's not a cheap product, it leaves my hair super soft and really shiny. It's really good for the money!

Out of the shower I use:

Pantene Aqua Light Nourishing Spray- I'm always wary about leave in conditioners cause I'm convinced they will leave my hair feeling greasy. This one does not. I use this mostly for tangles, it makes your hair so much easier to brush/comb which is perfect for someone like whose hair tangles really easy and stops it looking so rat tailey. ( Yes I know that is not a word.)

Schwarzkopf Got 2B Heat Protection Spray- This I just spray on to protect from heat, I don't really use much heat on my hair apart from blow drying - but I think it's good to have a protection spray as it helps the hair :)

So there we go- Hope you haven't found this too boring!

Hope you're all having a good Wednesday
