Hope you're all having a lovely day so far, I popped into town earlier to post some ebay packages and popped into Boots as there were a few things that I wanted (when is there a time that I don't want anything?!)
Now when watching Made in Chelsea last night (don't worry I'm not favouring it over TOWIE, that Essex clan still have a place in my heart) I admired Millie's make up, she had a really dewy fresh look that just looked really lovely and summery. Now don't get me wrong, I usually don't like all that dewy foundation business, I'm a ' the more matte the better' girl and I like full coverage to cover my dodgy skin. But with summer approaching, I don't want a heavy foundation for on holiday and for the first time in a few months, I actually feel like my skin is getting better. I think maybe my pill is finally working for my skin ( yes whatever doctor three months isn't long enough to see a difference) and applying Bio Oil each night over my marks/scars from dreaded spots are actually fading.
So with this new found confidence, I decided I wanted a lighter foundation that would give me a dewy look. I opted for Bourjois's Healthy Mix foundation, I have seen this on so many blogs and heard so many good things about it! I decided for under a tenner it was worth a try! What's the chances that my skin turns really awful again? I bet it's saying ' that's what you get when you get your hopes up.'
I also bought the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer as I'd heard it was amazing for eye bags. My eye bags are back at their best at the moment (probably due to my awful sleeping cycle) so I needed something a little more to combat them so I'm hoping this will fix that.
Finally Boots are running their £5.00 of No.7 vouchers again so I picked up this peach cream blush for only £4.00. I'm really loving peach blushes at the moment as I think they look really lovely and summery so hopefully this will complete my summer look.
I will definitely post up a review once I've tried these all out! Have you tried any of these products?
Hope you all have a enjoyable rest of your day :)
