Current Favourites: Eye Make UpWednesday, October 05, 2011
Hope you're all okay and a had a good day, it feels like actual winter tonight! I am currently sitting in my living room in my fleecy primark pyjama bottoms and my new christmassy slippers from Primark- £3.00 FTW!
Now as sad as this might sound, applying my eye make up is one of my favourite parts of applying my make up. I know that sounds a bit weird but I like the fact that you can mix it up every day, some days I choose to go for a natural look other days I try to channel Kim Kardashian with a smokey eye!
I thought I would just write a post on my current favourite eye products and how I use them and what I use from them!
FrontCover Cosmetics Moondust kit- I posted about this the other day, so I won't harp on too much. I love a metallic pigment on the eye and these really are so, so lovely. My favourite shades from the collection and what I've been using most days are; Saddle Brown, Burnt Carrot and Coinage. I am also loving the shadowbase for highlighting the brow bone!
Urban Decay Naked Palette- an old favourite of mine as you all probably know if you've been reading my blog for a while! I've been loving mixing the colours Sin and Half Baked with the moondust pigments to create smokey daytime eyes!
Maybelline Falsies and Colossal waterproof mascara- Maybelline mascaras are probably my favourite drugstore mascara brand. I've been loving the mixture of these two together and they've been making my lashes quite long which is always a good sign. I've also seen how much of a difference it makes using eyelash curlers, I've found my lashes are so much more dramatic after using the curlers, if you don't own a pair, I recommend that you get some pronto!
Maybelline gel eyeliner- Again an old favourite, this is amazing for lining the waterline, it lasts all day and creates a really dramatic line which I find much better than using just normal eye kohl.
Models Own smokey eye kit- Again a product that I've posted about before, this has been great for filling in my eyebrows. Ever since I got my eyebrows threaded, I've noticed that I've been quite liking a strong brow of late and this kit is great for creating one!
So there we go, my favourite eye products of late! What's your favourite eye products?
Hope you all have a good evening, I am excited for a night in with some pizza and TOWIE. See what an exciting life I lead eh ;)
