Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask Review

Hey Girlies!

Another day, another Liz Earle product eh? I have been loving Liz Earle's products lately and have been seeing a difference in my skin. I've realised that by spending a little more on skincare makes a huge difference as your make up looks tons better, I don't think I will be reverting back to my 'lazy cleanser' days any time soon!

So today I will be reviewing the Deep Cleansing Mask, a mask which is for oily, combination and problem prone skin, which is my skin in a nutshell basically. Taken from the Liz Earle website they describe the mask as "this highly concentrated clay and manuka honey mask helps draw out impurities and excess oil to leave skin balanced, calm and clear."

With a 75ml starter kit which is what I've got, you also get two little sponges which you use to wipe off the mask and it all comes in a dinky little pencil case bag.

So how do you use this mask?
  • Use after cleansing, and apply a generous amount to your face and neck if needs be.
  • Kick back and relax for 5-10 minutes and let the mask do it's work
  • Then rinse off using the little sponges, douse them in hand hot water and wipe off the mask
  • The finish with a splash of cold water and then use the tonic and moisturiser
I always say that whenever I have a skincare product I try to use it for a few weeks though before writing a post but with face masks, I feel they are quick fixers that may or may not help improve your skin over a course of using a product.

The cute little sponges!

This mask is really lovely, it feels all lovely and tingly when you first apply to your skin and it feels like it is genuinely working. I left it on for 5-7 minutes and then wiped off using the little sponges. The sponges kept the heat from the hot water so I could feel my pores getting a good clean. Afterwards my skin felt and looked clean, soft and bright. I'm really impressed and will be using this as a twice a week treat for my skin. Especially now the colder weather is here and my skin needs a little boost!

Have you used this mask? What did you think?

I hope you all have a lovely Sunday, I am supposed to be doing uni work but instead I'm on ASOS browsing dresses to wear to the Cosmo Blog Awards! I'm also hoping Mr. Asda man hurries soon with my shopping as I'm hungry - ha the asda man has just arrived! Lol spooky! He told me that he had a stinking cold and that he was sorry if I got ill, I was standing there thinking " how would I be getting ill exactly?" Needless to say I did wash my hands once the shopping was put away.  Have a lovely day :)

P.s Yes this mask was sent to me by Liz Earle's PR Team for review purposes, but as ever my review remains 100% honest.
