Seeing Spots: OutfitWednesday, August 29, 2012
So on Monday, my boyfriend and I celebrated our three year anniversary. Well I say celebrated, we both had work all day despite it being a bank holiday weekend. The joys of working in retail and the food industry eh? Anyway, it was still nice to be like 'whooo three years!' It's quite nice to give a bit of a finger up to the people who thought our relationship would never survive through uni. So last night we both had the evening off so went out for a meal to our local Prezzo. We'd never been there before and we'd changed our Tesco clubcard vouchers into Prezzo vouchers so apart from drinks it didn't cost us anything. It was a bit of a win, win situation! The weather was reasonably sunny but a little bit chillier last night, however I went for an old favourite combination outfit of mine. The BBS combo.. that is the blazer, blouse and shorts. If all else goes wrong the BBS always serves me well.
I've got this new spotted blouse from Lavish Alice which is a little different to other blouses I have, yes I probably am going to have a wardrobe busting at the seams with blazers and blouses soon. But needless to say I do like this blouse, it livens up a outfit that's for sure. I decided to leave a couple of buttons undone to make it a little more casual and popped my River Island collar necklace on underneath which I may of forgot that I had. Whoops. I also wore my very trusty items my Primark jersey blazer (easily the best £13 I spent two years ago) and my River Island denim shorts, which yes you may have to surgically remove from me when Autumn swings round. I really like this blouse and think it will also look lovely with black jeans and a white blazer for a smart, tailored look. I did feel a bit like Coco the clown at first but the spots soon wore off on me. The meal at Prezzo was lovely, we left feeling suitably full and came home and watched Don't Tell the Bride in bed. Whoever said romance was dead was a liar! Haha, over the weekend we might have another little celebration as we're both so shattered at the moment with working over the weekend! Anyway you can't beat a snuggly night in with your loved one.
I hope you're all having a lovely day, it's very rainy here which isn't great but it's my day off so I don't need to venture out which is nice! I'm going to spend my day chilling out and maybe do some cleaning. I know, how exciting! Though it may distract me from online shopping, bring on payday is all I have to say!
