Crazy for Chocolate Pamper Evening: The Bubbles and Butters Company Review

Thursday, September 20, 2012

Hello!

I've not been feeling myself the past few days, I think it's down to a week of long days and late nights at work and not having any time to just relax. There's no secret that I'm 21 going on 81 so I do tend to get tired quite easy and with the change in weather from summer to Autumn always means a cold is on it's way. This means I was in need of a pamper evening, after all a pamper evening is what every girl needs now and then every week. So last night, I had the flat to myself which meant it was the perfect opportunity to have a little chill.  My first part of my evening was to have a bubble bath. I'm a firm believer in a bath makes everything better, I also had some new bath and body products that I couldn't wait to try. I couldn't run that bath faster! My new products are from a new range called The Bubbles and Butters Company which you can buy in Tesco. I was sent the Crazy for Chocolate range*, and wow I'm crazy about these products!

There's a bath bubbles which creates the most amazing smelling and bubbly bath ever! I couldn't believe how yummy my bathroom smelt, and the mixture of the bubbles and sweet smell definitely made me feel a lot better than what I was feeling before! Whilst I was in the bath, I did give myself a bit of a facial, but that's for another post so watch out for that one. After a nice relaxing soak and a read of Look magazine.. err how hard is it to read a magazine in the bath? I hopped out to lather myself in some body butter. I am a big moisturiser fan and moisturise twice a day without fail, it's part of my daily routine so I'm always looking out for yummy smelling moisturisers to adorn my body with. Like it's sibling the Crazy for Chocolate body butter smelt amazing, like cocoa butter but better. The smell also lasts on your skin so long that when I woke up this morning, twelve hours after applying the body butter, I could still smell the chocolate smell on my skin! That may not be up everyone's street, but it's definitely up mine! The body butter itself is rich and really moisturising. I love a good thick body butter so this will help me keep the last of my tan now that Autumn is well on it's way! As well as the body butter and bath bubbles, there's also a lip butter which again smells amazing. It's a nice little product but probably won't replace my Carmex quite yet. However this is one I will be throwing in my handbag for a little lip pick me up, it would brighten my day having a little chocolate scent on my lips! The Bubbles and Butters Company products can be bought from Tesco and online (here) there's loads of other yummy flavours and they're really cheap too, prices range from £2-6 :)

After that I settled down to watch Don't Tell the Bride then The Holiday. What a perfect pamper evening, I've woke up feeling a bit more refreshed.. but I'm thinking that maybe I should do the same again tonight? ;) So what's your favourite way to unwind and relax? I hope you all have a great Thursday evening, I'm home from work and definitely feeling another pamper sesh tonight!!
