The Holy Grail Cleanser?

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Hello,

You will of most probably heard about this cleanser before. It's been a bit of a cult hit in the beauty blogsphere and it seems lately there's been lots of posts popping up about it. It's a cleansing balm that has gone from being practically un heard of to being talked about all over the place. Of course I'm talking about the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm. Cleansing balm's was something I'd never heard of until I started reading Caroline aka the skincare goddess's blog. She is a big fan of this cleansing balm and it was only a matter of time before I gave in and bought the thing. I went for ages saying to myself, ' you don't need this balm Corrie.' But then I got a sample from What's in My Handbag, the tiny little pot held enough for me to make up my mind on this product. I needed more.

So what exactly is a cleansing balm? Basically it comes in a tub and has a almost putty texture, think like Vaseline. You take a tiny bit, ( a little goes a long way) add a few drops of warm water to make a almost milk and then massage all over your face. It takes some getting used to, but you soon start to get addicted. The Emma Hardie balm has a endless amount of positives about it, it's good for all skin types, is super moisturising so it's great for the winter months, can help to purify and minimise open pores and can even be used as a soothing face mask. So it sounds pretty good yes? It also smells amazing, I can't put my finger on what the smell reminds me off but I love it. It has key ingredients such as moringa seed extract, orange, mandarin extracts and jasmine is just a selection of the natural ingredients it boasts. I wasn't sure if this would change my skincare routine that much but it has.

I use this balm in two ways, sometimes for a treat I will use this to take my make up off, it melts your make up off so easily, even waterproof mascara doesn't stand a chance. But most of the time I use this after raking my make up off, this helps to remove any excess there might be and revitalises my skin. My skin is always left feeling refreshed, clean and soft. Since I've started using this. I've found my skin to be less dry, more brighter and helps breakouts. It's a really lovely winter cleanser, maybe in the summer when my skin goes back to be all oily, it might not work, but for now I am loving it. Of course with all good skincare it's not cheap. However I got mine from Feel Unique, which is one of the cheapest places I've found it. It also has 20% off right now too! A little does go a long way though so a tub would last you a long time. Of course I'm happy to of found an amazing cleanser but now I am a little addicted to the stuff. This could be a pricey obsession. Whoops.

Have you tried the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm? I hope you're all having a great week and aren't working too hard!
