The Wardrobe of a personal shopper #4

As you may have seen earlier on in the week, I posted about some of my everyday work outfits. I went on a bit of a photo taking spree and ended up taking a lot of photos of different outfits. Because of this, I decided to post my updated Spring work wardrobe in two parts. Today is the second part, or fourth instalment of my work wardrobe essentials ever. Though I say I want to add more colour to my wardrobe there isn't that much colour.. yet. I think that once I'm settled into my new house and have spent money on important things like wardrobes, desks etc. I can have a spree in Zara. My basket is already bulging on the Zara app. Dangerous territory right there.

The Printed Skirt

Blazer: Primark
Top: Zara
Necklace: Dorothy Perkins

I do love a good old printed skirt. This daisy one from Lavish Alice is no exception. I love the daisy print and the skater style fit of it. It has a elasticated waistband so you can adjust it to where your waist it. Because I am quite petite and have a short body, my waist is quite high so this is perfect for me. I think the print is really summery and right now I am pairing it with all black for work. But I can imagine rocking this in the summer in just a simple white tshirt and sandals with a ice cream in my hand...

The Shift Dress
Blazer: Primark
Dress: Topshop
Necklace: Dorothy Perkins

As you may already know, usually when it comes to dresses, I go for skater styles. You usually tend to stick with what you know, but when I was looking for a dress for my boyfriend's Mum's wedding, I thought I'd try something different. This printed shift dress from Topshop is a new favourite in my wardrobe. The shift style makes the dress seem smarter than my usual skater styles and it works well with both tights and bare legs. I wear it with a black blazer and a chunky necklace. I know that this dress is definitely going to serve me well throughout Spring and Summer.

The Pencil Skirt

Shirt: Lavish Alice*
Necklace: Dorothy Perkins
Skirt: Miss Selfridge

You may of already seen this outfit on my instagram, but I had to include it as it's a new favourite of mine. This is my secretary outfit. A fitted pencil skirt with a bow on the front from Miss Selfridge and then a blouse. I have been loving this polka dot blouse from Lavish Alice from ages now and I wear it at least once a week. It's that one outfit, I can throw on and it look good. It's effortless. Whilst the weather is in that in-between stage, this skirt is great for getting the legs out. But it's not too short that you getting strange looks. Could I be a pencil skirt convert? Maybe. Watch this space.

So there we have it, a little look into my current work wardrobe. Hopefully I will be getting some more summery inspired pieces soon and when I do, I will do a updated outfit post! What are you adding to your summer work wardrobe? I hope you're all good and I'll see you soon!
