A moisturiser for the shower? Say what....Friday, July 05, 2013
Ooh I go through moisturisers like no ones business. Being a tan addict and any other well educated tanorexix's will know that keep your tan looking natural and dark is to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. Come on girls, you know the drill. Just realised that maybe a new business venture for me could be opening a tanning school, where you take your O (orange) Levels, and key subjects would be exfoliation, applying and choosing the right shade. Hmm definitely think I'm onto a winner there. Okay moving on...But finding the right moisturiser can be tricky. I hate ones that leave me flapping around waiting for it to dry as they're all sticky or ones that don't even make a difference to the moisture levels in your skin. However probably the number one thing about moisturising is finding the time to do it. Luckily I've got myself into a routine, but being a bit lazy sometimes I will skip moisturising if I'm super tired.. however I've been trying out a product for the past few weeks that is essential for anyone who wants super soft skin but may not have the time to actually moisturise every day. Intrigued?
The Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser* is something that caught my eye. In fact it caught my boyfriend's too. Now that's saying something if it caught a boys eye. It's pretty hard to get your head round, a moisturiser for the shower?? Huh. When I first got this product, I could not wait to try it out. I thought that this was a shower gel, it is not. To use this you use your normal shower gel.. scrub, scrub, lather, lather rinse and then you use the In shower body moisturiser. The product itself comes out as a white cream it feels like moisturiser not like usual shower gel and it's activated by water. So you pop on your bod and then rinse off straight away. It's immediately absorbed into the skin and leaves your skin feeling soft, without any stickiness. At first I wasn't convinced but after using this I saw that my skin was soft, and my fake tan stayed on the same as when I moisturise twice a day. I do find that I don't tend to use this every day as I'd get through the bottle pretty quickly but it's great for lazy days or sleepy evenings.
All in all, I think this is a great little product. You can get the effects of moisturising without having to take any extra time out of your day, it takes a couple of seconds and voila you're done. Nivea you've created a bit of a winner, us lazy beauty addicts salute you!
