Life: Update..Wednesday, October 23, 2013
Whoops, I have been a bit rubbish with my blog lately, I think my last post almost three weeks ago? Whoops. I've just said whoops twice in one sentence, oh dear I think I've forgotten how to type. Anyways, I have been a little slack with the old posting on here and uploading on youtube, to be honest with you, I just needed a little break. Now we've got Frankie, and working sometimes blogging has to take a back seat, and I came to a point where I literally didn't know how to write about beauty products. I basically lost my mojo. I either needed a little break or a slap with a wet fish, I opted for the break. I'm back now feeling a lot more inspired and ready to get back into the swing of blogging. But first before I break into a song and dance about new beauty products I'm loving, I thought I'd give you a little life update, as you know a lot can happen in three weeks.
So first of all let's have a Frankie update, Frankie is now 15 weeks old, we've had him for almost 6 weeks, and I can't remember our life without him! He's getting big now, I am making the most of being able to carry him as I'm sure it won't be long till he's too heavy for me and I'm pretty sure one of these days I will come downstairs in the morning to find him as big as me. But anyways, he's been a good boy. We've cracked the sleeping! Hurrah, we started with a sleeping bag outside his pen so he thought someone was there, now he goes into his bed by himself and we don't hear a peep till 7:30ish. We've gone from 6:50 to 7:30! Result, he'll be having a lie in, in no time. We've started walking him which he loves and he's even really good off his lead. Hopefully there won't be any ' JESUS CHRIST FRANKIE' moments. He's still going through a bit of a biting phase, but it tends to happen when he's thirsty. So we've been directing him to his bowl or putting him in his pen for 20/30 seconds and then he tends to stop. He's met all the parents now and I'm glad to report he didn't A: bite anyone or B: poo on anyone's carpet. We've had a few toilet incidents, having a puppy is not glamorous let me tell you but my stomach is getting stronger by the day. Overall we're really enjoying having Frankie, he's great company and is such a big part of our lives. I'll obviously keep you all updated as he keeps getting older.
So not much has been going on really apart from looking after Frankie, we went home last week for a holiday which was nice and I passed my driving test! Whoop whoop, I did all the driving lessons when I was 17 and then after I failed a couple of tests I gave up with driving and I regretted it ever since. We changed the car a little while ago, so I decided it was time to start driving again. I drove around with Henry and then last week had a intensive course of driving lessons and passed my test on Friday with five minors! A very scary experience but I'm very glad it's done and I can't wait to get my little pink license. Now the car fund starts, I've got my eye on a little Fiat 500, but I may need to win the lottery first! If you're in the Shropshire area, I'd recommend Paul Bromley as a driving instructor.
Over the past three weeks I have been still reading blogs and watching youtube videos, I have been loving Sam's return to blogging and Rebecca's blog. Youtube wise, Lucy's videos make me chuckle a lot and Bella is very cute!
Other than that I have just been plodding along, I have loads of new beauty products to talk about though, and I'm excited to get posting again. So without anymore waffle, I'm going to get some posts written up. I hope you're all well and have had a good three weeks. Now let's get back to lipstick shall we? ;)
