Catching Up #1Thursday, February 13, 2014
We're already a month and a half into 2014. Just how did that happen? Though looking back, it seems that January in retrospect was a very long month, but also whizzed by too. At least now we can wave goodbye to January Blues. I was all set for a super productive January, but I think all in all, I was productive for about a week. Brilliant. The frequent blogging didn't kick off, I had a couple of weeks with no new uploads, and well I didn't join a gym. But I did manage to wipe my main new year's resolution off the list. I only went and got a new job. Now that makes up for the sporadic blogging and the fact I still have a muffin top. It's more to cuddle right?
In two weeks, I will be embarking on a new career, I'll be waving goodbye to personal shopping and saying hello to working within social media full time. I am incredibly excited to finally have a job in a field that I am so passionate about and is something that I worked my ass off at university doing. I'll be going back to working full time, but I'll be joining the Monday to Friday club, so the weekend's will be spent dedicated to blogging and videos. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I very sneakily posted a 'exciting news' photo, and sorry to disappoint anyone who thought I was engaged, with child or had a new house. Just a new job for now folks.
So in other news, you may notice that some things around here have changed. Though if you're reading on Bloglovin, I'll give you a hint (cough new blog design cough). As much as I loved my old design, I'd had it for a while and felt like my blog needed a revamp. Thank you Abby from Baggle Design for my new layout :) I also thought a new look would help kick start my blogging inspiration. I've got lots planned content wise for my blog, I want to add a bit more fashion and lifestyle so keep a eye out for that. I also thought that now and then it's nice to just sit down and write about what's going on, so every month, I'll do a catch up post. I always like to know more about the bloggers that I read, so I hope you enjoy finding out what's going on.
So for now, I will love you and leave you, and next month, we'll be catching up on my first couple of weeks at my job. I am already stressing about what to wear.
