Lush Easter 2015 Range

Easter is one of my favourite times of the year. I will put my hands up and say it's totally for the wrong reasons, but Easter is up there for me because of one reason... Easter Eggs. Yes I know. Easter isn't just about chocolate. But someone like me who is obsessed with chocolate, has always looked forward to this time of year. Because not only do we get to spend time with our family, enjoy a roast dinner, have an extra couple of days off school/work but Easter egg chocolate always tastes better than regular chocolate. OH AND MINI EGGS. I LOVE MINI EGGS.

So Lush obviously get just as excited as me, as they have released a dedicated collection with some right gems, that you are all going to love. When they dropped into my letterbox, well I lie, the postman who I call the ninja postman cause he can silently creep up to the house, deliver packages without disturbing a sleeping Frankie. I usually jump out of my skin when I see him creeping past, motioning a 'shhhh' sign so we don't alert Frank who then starts barking. Ah sorry, that has nothing to do with this post. Okay Lush, back to the game.

I have five items in my collection, but there's actually 12 Easter themed products from Lush so make sure you go check them out. So I have The Golden Egg, which honestly sounds like a sentence from a Harry Potter book/film, which is a bath bomb melt. It's gold and glittery, and leaves glitter everywhere. With a honey toffee scent and packed full of cocoa butter, it will leave your skin soft, moisturised and well glittery.

Whilst we're talking about gold stuff, we have Pot O' Gold which I feel you have to say in an Irish accent. Don't ask me why. Also I imagine this is what Kayne West showers with and what you find at the end of rainbows. This shower gel is quite peculiar, it's a jelly consistency, and has fresh orange oil, pineapple juice and vanilla in it's ingredients. But I just can't get on board with the smell, it just smells a bit funky to me. But it looks cool and I will be showering with it, pretending I'm Kayne.

Next the Somewhere Over The Rainbow soap, a multicoloured affair which I have to say, if Tumblr was a soap, this is what it would look like. With Rose absolute, Sicilian mandarin and neorili oils, it's not just a treat for the eyes but for the nose too, but just don't put it up there to wash with. Ah gad, can you tell I'm going a bit mad after a straight 6 hours at my laptop?

Then we have the Bunch Of Carrots, which caught my eye the most in the collection. Three carrot bath melts, which are reusable are super cute and perfect for Easter. Just don't feed them to any rabbits. These create mountains of bubbles, and have a tropical scent with ingredients such as lemon and grapefruit. These would be perfect for a morning bath, for a refreshing wash.

Finally we have the cutie of the collection, who I'm not sure I can dissolve into a bath. The Hoppity Poppity, is a cute bunny bath bomb, with pink features, he's a cutie, I don't know why he's a he, but I just feel that mine is. Mr Hoppity Poppity has a fresh herbal scent to leave you bright eyed and bushy tailed as Lush say. I probably will drop mr Hoppity Poppity into the bath though as he includes popping candy to give your bath a bit of a piazzzz and well popping candy is one of my favourite things ever, so I can't not really try them.

There's also a couple of other cute bath bombs in the range and gift sets in the Easter range that I will be sure to check out. But I have to say, I am very excited to have several Easter themed baths, I think I may eat chocolate in them at the same time, cause well if you can't eat chocolate in the bath at Easter then when can you?
