Barry M Coconut Infusion RangeThursday, May 05, 2016
You should know by now if you've been an avid reader of my blog for some time that I am a big fan of Barry M. I've always loved their nail range in particular, and have always looked forward to new season launches since I was about 16. There is a new range for this summer, which I suspect you will love as much as I do. Although I am a little late with posting about this one, so sorry about that!
The new Coconut Infusion Range is a new collection of nine nail polishes, which are all made with a very new innovative formula which doesn't just include coconut water but also coconut oil. Yeah I know say whattttt? With coconut oil being the popular kid at school right now, it was only time before it started to seep into our make up bags and I have to say hats off to Barry M for giving us something I did not think was possible.
The new range is to hydrate and nourish nails whilst providing a glossy, shiny finish. With also vitamin B and C being part of the ingredient line up too, you're not only getting pretty nails but also a nail treatment too. The colours are all perfect for summer, with four of the shades being nudes ( maybe inspired by the old coconut perhaps?) but I'd say there was a nude to fit all skin tones. We've got; Skinny Dip ( an almond pale nude), StarFish ( a slightly creamier nude, think a latte), Sunkissed ( a darker nude like toffee) and Tiki Hut ( a darker nude which is a little lighter than Dairy Milk chocolate.) Then the brights are; Laguna ( an almost cornflower blue which if my fave colour from the whole lot) Flamingo ( a muted orange/peach colour), Aloha (which looks really red in my pics, but is a bright flamingo pink) Bikini (which is a spring green colour, it's a muted down Greenberry from the Gelly collection if you have that) and Surfboard ( a pretty pale lilac.)
I did think that the colour lasted on my nails for a good few days, I felt like Laguna lasted on my nails longer than regular Barry M shades. The brush is wide which I love, but I'm sad to report that these nail polishes do not smell of coconut. I feel like I've not used these long enough to report on a difference in my nails condition, but I'll maybe give them a go for a few weeks in a row and report back in a couple of months.
But for now, we have 9 new seriously pretty summery shades from Barry M for the summer. I'm a huge fan of Laguna, and look forward to more releases from one of my fave make up brands. They should be out in Boots/Superdrug already and are £4.99 each.
Have you tried the Barry M Coconut Infusion range?
