The Products You Need From Barry M This SummerTuesday, June 14, 2016
Anyway, my Barry M obsession still continues, and a few weeks ago, I went to London to hear about their new releases for summer. Let me just tell you that there are quite a few new things, so you'll probably need a cuppa as this may be quite a long post. So now you've got yourself comfortable, let's begin shall we.
I'm going to start with the products that I am most excited by, these Strobe Creams are every highlight obsessives dreams and I have to say they are as good as they look. Coming in two colours; Iced Bronze and Frosty Pink, one is a champagne bronze colour whilst the other is a pearly pink colour. They are creamy, and blend able and are perfect for giving your skin a dewy glow. I'd compare them to Benefit's Watts Up, but a lot cheaper.
Swatches: L-R : Iced Bronze, Frosty Pink.
I'm a big fan and I can see myself using these most days. I am planning a current fave highlighters post, so I'll be doing swatches and that kinda thing then, so keep your eyes peeled.
Next up is some new additions to the nail paint range. The Molten Metals, look like glittery/shimmery nail paints in the bottles, but they're actually different to what I was expecting. They actually give you a metallic effect on the nails, that I think look really nice and aren't too Christmassy at all.
I love Bronze Bae as it gives me that rose gold effect on my nails. I think they're a bit different and will look amazing with a tan.
The Lolly Nail Paints are also new which are like a nail tint if that makes sense? Though they are a lot more pigmented than I thought they would be. They're very glossy, and shiny and again would be perfect for holidays.
There is also four limited edition nail paint colours exclusive to Superdrug and Boots, they are quite nude toned, but there is a brighter pink exclusive to Superdrug.
I love the packaging of these bottles, the metallic lids are so cute. They're limited edition though so if you do fancy getting your hands on one, then make sure you hurry as I'm not sure how long they will be around.
The Hide & Chic palette is also very cute. It consists of a bronzer, two blush shades and two highlight shades. Whilst the highlighter shades aren't as shimmery as I like, the blush shades are very pretty and pigmented. Perfect for taking away with you on holiday or trips this summer, and also for £6.49 is a right bargain.
There's also a new brow powder called It's A Brow Thing which I am yet to try but is quite intriguing, as it's a brow powder which I wasn't expecting. It will fill in gaps in brows, but like I said I haven't tried this yet but I'll let you know how I get on with it. There's also two new lip oils, I really like the Coco Loco one which is a clear one but smells amazing. They are really nice to just apply through the day, they don't feel too sticky or oily and smell so good. They would be perfect for your beach bag, as they're so easy to pop on and give your lips a little hydration.
Finally we have three new lipliners which are omg amazing. In fact I love them so much I am dedicating a whole post to these. They are pretty much exact dupes for the hyped Mac lipliners that Kylie Jenner was a fan of back in the day. So I will be doing a post very soon with swatches as they are also pretty good dupes for some of the Kylie Lip Kit liners too! So keep your eyes peeled and I'll try get that post up asap!
I think that is everything, I love all of the new products but my faves are the lipliners and the Strobe Creams, they are amazing and I think for the money they are incredible!
So yet again Barry M have knocked it out of the park with their new releases, have you tried any of the new picks?
* All of these products are PR samples, but as always my opinion is 100% honest.
