A Pamper Gift GuideThursday, December 15, 2016
So, today is my final gift guide of 2016 :( but hopefully it will be a good one to finish on! Today I thought I’d talk about a gift that is perfect for treating someone with, this Christmas. I love making gifts like this, and it’s definitely something I’d love to receive myself! So this is a pamper gift box/hamper, hey pamper hamper- that rhymes!
This is the perfect failsafe present, it’s thoughtful, and a lovely treat. I usually make a few of these up each year, and always hope I’ll possibly receive one myself. In case you need some inspiration for a box of your own, I’ve included some ofmy favourite things below that have always gone down very well in the past.
Pyjamas: Who doesn’t love a fresh pair of pyjamas? Places like Primark have amazing pyjamas which won’t break the bank, as do Boohoo and Missguided! Slippers, cosy socks and dressing gowns are also lovely gifts to include, I love nothing more than cuddling up in that week between Christmas and New Year with lovely fresh nightwear.
Bath Treats: If you’re anything like me, you don’t treat yourself to baths too often. So it’s nice to take some time over Christmas to relax and I always find a bath is one of my favourite ways to do so. I love a good bath bomb, and always look forward to receiving one at Christmas. Lush do the best ones of course, but things like bath oil and bubble bath are also good choices.
Skincare: The festive season can wreak havoc on your skin.From late nights, to eating way too many naughty things - the stress of Christmas can leave its mark on our poor faces. Treating someone to new skincare is always a nice present in my books. A selection of products such as a gift set is the perfect way of trying a new range, and I have been really liking the Avalon Organics gift sets this Christmas, especially The Brilliant Balance Skincare Collection. This is a lavender and cucumber set which aims to balance and soothe stressed skin. Packaged in an exclusive bag, the products are; a daily moisturiser which helps to hydrate the skin and improve clarity, a night cream which supports the skin over night repair cycle and which smells amazing, I must add! I like to layer this one really thick and leave it to sink in, almost like a face mask to ensure it really sinks in. Then finally, an enzyme scrub which helps to encourage luminous skin, which I always need at this time of year when my skin is dull and tired!
I think this is a really lovely set to gift someone for Christmas, and there’s another set too which is The Avalon Organics Intense Defense Skincare Collection which is a citrus-based range with ingredients such as lemon, vitamin C and White Tea. All the products are natural, have no nasties and are dermatologist tested, which is a huge bonus. The products are also vegan and cruelty free! Both are lovely gifts and are perfect for all ages so would suit anyone from your sister to your mum.
Other things that I usually include in my pamper hampers are;
Body Products such as lotions, oils and body butters, after all it’s Christmas so we may as well treat our bodies as well as our faces!
Chocolates: Christmas is one of my favourite times of year, because it’s perfectly acceptable to eat chocolate all day long. Sitting back and relaxing with films in new pyjamas with a box of chocolates, ah that sounds like a perfect plan to me!
Sleep Spray: I love sleep spray, and this one from This Works is a lifesaver for nights when I can’t drift off. You spray it on your pillow, or on your duvet and it really helps you to fall asleep. Perfect for relaxing and a perfect present for someone who perhaps need a bit of me time.
Candles: I’m going to finish off my pamper gift guide with some candles, the perfect accompaniment for a pamper evening of course! I also particularly love a Christmas scented candle, yes I am one of those people who could burn Christmas candles all year round!
So these are the items that I think these make the perfect pamper gift box! Once wrapped up nicely, they make a really lovely gift that I am sure anyone would love to see under their Christmas tree.
What would you include in a pamper gift box and what would you like to receive in a pamper gift box?
