I'm having one of those days, where I can't seem to function like a normal human being. I can't seem to concentrate on one thing at a time, in fact it's taken me pretty much the whole day to just write this post and I scrapped my last draft as it just didn't even make sense haha.

Anyways, enough of me and my fuzzy brain, it's April. How did that happen eh? It seems like five minutes ago that it was New Years Eve, and we were sitting with a KFC and watching Harry Potter films (don't lie, you know that sounds like a top NYE) and now it's April. We're already into the fourth month of the year, and yeah how weird.

March whizzed by, as it was a super busy month for me work wise, which is great. I'd had a couple of quiet months so it's great to be busy and working with some really cool brands. I've been working on a few things that I'm really proud of and still have to pinch myself when I realise that I'm working with some brands that I've admired for years. I did a video with Frank which is going live next week which was so fun to film, and hey it was about time that he started to pay his way haha.

Anyways, things are starting to take a little breather which is nice, I've had today to chill and spend today as a blog writing day, which let me tell you hasn't gone to plan. Tbh I've spent the majority of the day with the How I Met Your Mother box set on Netflix, but hey we have these days sometimes right?

So how are you? Enough of me blabbering on.

To be honest, I don't even know what the point is of this post, but these are the types of posts that I used to write when I first started my blog and I kinda miss them. I miss just knocking out a post after a day of uni and then just pressing publish. These days, I feel like I need plan posts for weeks in advance and be all super organised, however today, it's just you, me and a tube of Refresher sweets that I'm eating to try and give me a bit of a boost. You know when you just need some sugar, that's me right now.

So seeing as this post has no real point to it, I thought I'd turn it into an outfit post. Aha clever eh? Nah not really. Anyways, in March I started working with a local photographer on some outfit photos, which I have been wanting to do for about a year.

I actually have always loved taking outfit pics for my blog and Instagram, but always felt bad asking Henry for help because he works hard and shouldn't have to spend his weekend's taking pictures of me. I would however then always feel like the world's awkwardest turtle, going out with a tripod, so I was super happy to find Nesta.

We're going to start taking photos each month, so there will be more outfit posts on here finally. Not that I think I have amazing style or anything like that, but it'll be nice to show you guys my favourite outfits, and how I style things. You know me, I like high street clothes and I like to keep things simple, so for my fellow simple dressed skint girls, I have your back.

Anyway, today's outfit is featuring the jacket. Yes that's right, it deserves to be written in italic. You've probably seen me harp on about this jacket before, but this little beauty is from Primark ( I know right?) and it was only - are you ready for this? £23. Yes that's right, what an absolute bargain eh?

I can't stop wearing it and it's so good for jazzing up a real simple outfit, you know the usual white tee and jeans, as I have paired it with in these photos.

Also debuting my Vans, which I've been meaning to post about since December (my bad) but these are perfect for casual lazy day outfits, and surprisingly don't need breaking in either! I can feel that I'm going to be wearing these a lot over the Summer months with shorts, and what not.

I think I'd just seen a dog.

Talking of Summer, I've been hovering over that book a holiday button recently, not that, that button exists, but basically I've been looking up holidays, as I feel like we've reached that stage of when you've gone past wanting a holiday, but needing one. Part of me is like, maybe I should use the money for the wedding, or to put towards my tax bill, but the other part of me is like BORING. I feel like we've been boring responsible adults for the past two years and to be honest with you, I am fed up of it haha. You can't be a boring responsible adult your whole life right? (Back me up with this one haha)

Also if anyone has any cheap holiday recommendations, please send them my way! I've found a couple of nice deals for Crete, and the Canary Islands, but tbh if it's warm, has a pool and a beach, I am happy.

So I realise this post probably made no sense whatsoever, but yes here is my new love, my pink jacket, and I apologise if it's now sold out from Primark. I have linked some alternates down below :)

Hope you're all having a great April so far, apparently it's meant to be like 20 degrees this weekend? Could this be the first weekend of the year for bare legs? Oooh.

Anyways, I'll be back soon, hopefully with a post that has a bit more structure to it and not written by someone on a sugar high.
