Favourite Make Up Products- Part One-

Hey lovelies,

As I said in my post yesterday, I have compiled a couple of posts with my favourite beauty and make up products. I might do a hair and nails one as well if any one’s interested? I’ve decided to do this in two parts as I have got alot to write about and don’t want to bore you one massive post!

Today I’m going to show you part one of my favourite make up products, these are all time favourites and current favourites as I feel with make up you can change favourites from time to time, well I know that I do.

Let’s start then!

Foundation- I have been using Revlon’s Colorstay (Oily to Combination) for about two years now. I was recommended it by a friend at college. I haven’t looked back since! The only other foundation that I have tried in the mean time is Revlon’s photo ready which in my opinion isn’t as good as colourstay. This is full coverage which suits me just fine as I have bad skin esp at the moment and this makes me almost look like I have nice skin. It lasts all day if set with a powder and keeps the oil at bay. If you have bad skin like me then this is for you. I am looking to venture into different foundations however I have been saving my Boots points for EL Doublewear so maybe that will be a new favourite soon!

Concealer- Maybelline 24 hr superstay- This is alright, the reason it’s photographed because it’s the only concealer I use at the moment. Yes it covers blemishes quite well but I’ve noticed it’s not been working as well on my eye bags. I’m on the look for a new eye concealer I think, this however is one of the best ‘highstreet’ concealers I have used and trust me I have used alot!

Powder: Maybelline Dream Matte Powder- This is great stuff, keeps your face matte all day and doesn’t make you look like a ghost. It’s affordable and well just great.

Urban Decay Naked Palette– No surprises here this is my current favourite eye palette, it has an array of gorgeous colours for day and night wear. They last all day and this is completely worth the money trust me. It’s a make up investment that will last you a long time!

Models Own Black Kohl Eyeliner– Now if you’re a fan of eyeliner then I cannot recommend this enough to you. This is the only kohl eyeliner that has lasted on me. I have tried numerous brands and most last a couple of hours then smudge so you look like a panda. This stays all day or night long. I never even usually have to top it up. To me that is impressive. It’s also like £4.00, honestly one of the best buys you will ever make. Trust me.

Fake Bake Shimmer Brick- Light-  Recently posted about this and Fake Bake’s Shimmer brick in light my new favourite shimmer. I dab this on my cheeks and my brow bone. It’s gorgeous, doesn’t make you look shiny and Billie Faiers from TOWIE uses it, what more could you want 😉

ELF- Studio Golden Bronzer- I love being bronzed, and this is my favourite. Yes I own the cult chocolate bronzer ( you know the one I mean) and I honestly think it can be a little too flat sometimes. This has a lovely subtle shimmer that accentuates your features and makes you look bronzed and radiant. It isn’t too shimmery so you don’t look like Edward Cullen when you step outside. I love this and for £3.50 it’s amazing.

I am very fickle with my blushes, I have a new favourite every week! Here is my current favourites and a all time favourite too!

No.17 Blushes– China Doll and First Flush- I love No.17 blushes, they last all day and are great value. China Doll is one of the first blushes I ever used, it’s a bright pink which is very similar to the blusher Kate Middleton wore on her wedding day. First Flush is also a brighter pink which is just gorgeous. There’s lots of lovely shades to choose from 🙂

Illasmasqua Creme Blush Sob– This is a current favourite, I love the smell, the colour as it’s different to anything I own. It’s my first high end blusher so it had to be in here!

Topshop Creme Blushes- Flush– This is another fave at the moment, it has a lovely texture and colour and is really gorgeous. It’s great value for £6.50 and I would recommend checking out Topshop’s ranges of creme blushes!

Okay so sorry for the mammoth post- that’s only part one! Pheew. Hope you’re all having a good Monday 🙂
