Hope you’re all okay 🙂 I’m having a little chill day today and cleaning the flat for the arrival of my Mum and sister tomorrow. I am very excited about my birthday weekend and can’t wait for a weekend full of nice meals, shopping and everything else in-between!
Firstly a big thank you for all the lovely comments on my latest post, I’m sorry if you thought if I was bragging but I just wanted to let you all know that some good things were happening. I’m not going to lie but I’ve been fed up of late, with my boyfriend working full time, and the fact that for love nor money I haven’t been able to get a job.
Now enough of my moaning, things are on the up 🙂 and today I’m gonna be talking about The Body Shop’s Ionic Clay Mask. My face has been feeling quite oily and clogged lately so I put this on this morning to try and make my skin feel nice and clean for my birthday weekend.
This is a basic clay mask but it has the promise to clear out your impurities and pores. I love the effect of a mask drying on your face as I think that makes you feel like it’s working. This clay mask felt really lovely and cool when it was first applied and then after about five minutes it started to dry and you could almost feel it working deep in your pores. Though I gave myself a scare when I looked in the mirror as the mask was all green and cracked and I looked like a lizard! Now I don’t think I’ve ever expressed my fear of lizards but I have a major fear. So much so that I can’t look at a picture or see them on the tv or go anywhere near places that will have them. Zoo’s are a very scary place for me. How weird is that eh? I think the fear stems from a dream when I was younger when one ate me. Urgh going to stop talking about them now.
I left it on for like twenty minutes and after my skin felt soft, clean and re-freshed. I’m very impressed and will be trying to use this at least once a week!
Right I am off to have some lunch and put more sudocrem on the massive spot on my chest. I haven’t had a spot on my chest for like five years and now I have one which is the size of a frozen pea and bloody hurts. The tea tree oil and sudocrem are being applied to it every hour!! Hahah what an attractive picture I’m painting!
I might post over the weekend, but I don’t know if I will so if I don’t have a lovely weekend and when I return I’ll be TWENTY!!
