This month I have been asked by the lovely people at Style Compare to take part in their monthly blogger style challenge. This month’s theme is florals and we chose an item from Style Compare’s website to style for the competition. You may of seen last month’s competition which was pastel jeans so I was really chuffed to be asked especially as floral print is one of my favourite prints this season. If you’re not aware of Style Compare it’s a really cool website that lists everything from the high street, so if you’re looking for something in particular for example ‘floral dress’ it will bring up all the options from the high street. So it saves you going from one website to another. It’s providing very handy to me as I’m usually after something specific so it saves me website hopping!
For the this month’s Style Challenge I chose a Topshop Blue China floral dress with a cut out back which is really cute. I fell in love with this dress as I love the colours and it reminds me of vintage plates! I styled this dress as I do with most of my dresses with my Miss Selfridge leather jacket and New Look neon clutch bag. The dress is quite girly so the leather jacket toughens it up a little bit and the neon pink contrasts with the blue. For a night out I would wear this with nude wedges to match with the bag! This dress is lovely though and I’m sure it will be a summer staple in my wardrobe! It’s the perfect dress for me to swan about NYC in this summer pretending I’m Blair Waldorf.
Jacket: Miss Selfridge
Dress: Topshop c/o of Style Compare
Clutch: New Look

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Tuesday, I had a little shopping spree this morning (whoops) but then cleared some stuff out of my wardrobe to Ebay to make up for it, I’ll post the link on Twitter and on here when they’re listed 🙂 I hope you have a lovely evening, I will be snuggling down with Heat Magazine, 90210 and hastily avoiding doing uni work 😉
