June’s JolieBox: My Thoughts

I hope you’re all well and have enjoyed the bit of sunshine that we have had the past couple of days! I have most enjoyed being able to top my tan up just in time for my birthday! However it has now gone cloudy and looks like it’s going to rain…brilliant. So to brighten up I thought I’d blog about this month’s Joliebox. I do receive beauty boxes but never tend to blog about them as I feel every other blogger and their dog puts up a post and I feel the blogsphere can get a bit saturated. However i do sometimes make an exception if there is a particular box or product that I like and I just feel the need to tell you all! This month’s Joliebox may be my favourite beauty box yet! To be honest I quite like Glossybox’s box this month too so June is a great month for beauty boxes. Now what’s so special about the month’s Joliebox is that it’s their birthday box! Whoop Whoop! They have two specially designed boxes by designers OCH Studio and Mzelle Fraise, I received the bright orange box which I love and is a lot brighter and funkier (did I just say funkier?) than the usual black boxes. Inside is the Joliebox bag which is filled with Joliebox’s favourite french brands as Joliebox are originated from France! I bet you all knew that already though. When I heard that it was going to be a French brand bonanza I was so excited! I am loving french brands at the moment, especially skincare so I was very excited.

June JolieBox*

Yon-Ka: Pamplemousse Protective and Vitalising Cream: Normal to Oily Skin: This is the first month that Jolie Box are customising skin care products for which I think is a brilliant idea! This is a product I haven’t heard of but can’t wait to try. It’s a moisturiser that helps keep your complexion hydrated and bright but also helps with pores too! I am looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it works.

Institut Estherderm: Bronz Repair: When I saw in spoiler posts that this brand was going to be featured I was so happy! My favourite Millie Mackintosh has previously raved about this brand’s fake tan (before she was signed up to St.Tropez) and I’d heard amazing things on the blogsphere. I got the Bronz Repair which is a face protectant, it helps prevent sun damage on the skin whilst helping you get a tan. You can use it on both the face and body! The other product which is in the other boxes is there UV inCellum Spray which helps your body to tan and it protects you before you go out in the sun. So it’s like a tan maximiser before you get a tan! I’m so tempted to buy a bottle with any birthday money I get to take to America!

L’occitane: Angelica Hydrating Cream: Another facial cream which is a little more hydrating and re in forces natural skin hydration. I think I will use this as maybe a night time face cream as it seems to be more moisturising than the other one! Although there are two face creams in one box I think they’ll work in different ways and L’occitane is a very well known brand!

Elysambre Make Up Product: Crayon: 06: This is a eye crayon/lip crayon in a berry colour. Probably my least favourite thing from the box as the colour isn’t really me. However it is always good to have something like this in your make up collection in case you feel the need to experiment!

JolieBox Nail File: So the final product is a nail file, it’s very cute and will be great for travelling. I do think that this month’s box has an array of delights and apart from the crayon I will use all the products. Usually it’s only a couple of things that get used from beauty boxes so that’s pretty good going!

You also get the Jolie Mag too which is a nice touch and a good read! I read mine whilst in the sun earlier! Also if you like the look of June’s birthday box you have until Sunday to subscribe to get one! You can do this on the Jolie Box website and it’s £10 per box and then postage and packaging. So did you get this month’s JolieBox? What did you think? I hope you’ve all had a lovely day 🙂

* PR Sample. I did receive this box for free but I have not been sponsored to post a review about. As always my reviews remain honest and un bias.
