My New Favourite Dress

I don’t know why, but at the moment I have a bit of a obsession with floral dresses. It all started with the red Primark one that I picked up a couple of weeks ago and now I’ve added a further two to my wardrobe. Today I’m going to show you one of the new additions to my wardrobe, the Missguided number. I spotted it in the new arrivals a few days ago and knew I just had to have it. I though it would look good right now with sandals and sunnies but also with tights and boots come the winter. Yes it has come to that time of year when I’m thinking ‘ will this item last me for a good few months? Or just the next month?’ Anyways, although the sun is still shining, this look is a little wintery but hey ho. I’ve also bought the Topshop boots, that I have been lusting after for ages. I took the plunge and I love them, though I do feel a little like Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story in them. But hey there’s nothing wrong with a bit of Jessie.

Ive also been getting into hats again, I have added a new one to my collection a black fedora. I’m not sure if it suits me though or makes me look slightly like Wurzel Gummige/Amish. I’m hoping it will grow on me like the bowler hat did. I’ve just about got over the ‘do I look like Charlie Chaplin’ thought. I’ve also thrown on my leather jacket as it’s started to get chilly again in the mornings and evenings. Not that I’m complaining, without sounding too much like a old woman, nothing worse than a hot sticky night! This missguided floral number, is definitely a new favourite in my life. It’s skater style and slightly silky material makes it different from the other floral dresses I have in my wardrobe! It has a cut out back so it means that for work wear, a blazer does have to be kept firmly on. It’s also a nice length on me too, so I’m pretty made up with this dress!!

Okay so I’m rambling on now, I don’t know why but I just can’t focus on writing blog posts today! I’ve had one of those days when I literally don’t know what I’ve done with my time! Whoops. Oh well I suppose that is what days off is for! I hope you’re all well and had a great weekend 🙂
