The perfect festival outfit companion..

With V Festival on this weekend, I thought I would show you a little festival inspired fashion this weekend. I have of course, never really been to a festival before, unless you count T4 at the beach one and I’m not going to count it so I’ve never been. So I don’t really know too much about festival fashion, but from what I’ve seen this is my take on it! After all, me, tents and wet wipes aren’t really
compatiable partners. I had to camp for T4 on The Beach and let me just tell you that was a experience and a half. I have never been more grateful for a  proper shower and toilet before!! Kimono’s have made a real come back lately, they’re perfect for throwing over a outfit to dress it up a little and also with the in between weather we’ve been having the past few days their not too heavy when it’s a little chillier outside.

I really don’t know what’s going on with my leg here.

Kimono: Glamourous*

Top: French Connection

Shorts: River Island

Necklace: Dorothy Perkins ( similar here)

Sandals: Steve Madden

This printed one is from Glamorous and is quite vintage looking. I imagine it to be perfect for somewhere like Coachella. But unfortunately I don’t live in California, so I’ve had to bring LA to my garden instead. Team it with a simple vest top and shorts and bobs your uncle. The kimono does all the talking. I find they can be quite loose so I’ve popped a waist belt on to just bring my waist in a little. Hair wise, I find a side plait is great for when you’re in dire need to wash your hair!! It takes about two minutes to do and keeps your hair off your face when you’re bouncing around in the crowds!!

So are you off to any festivals this summer? Or are you like me, much happier at home with a hot shower and working toilet? Haha granny Annie strikes again. Hope you all had a great week, I have this weekend off, which is unheard of when you work in retail so I making the most of it 🙂
