This autumn it seems that heart prints are everywhere. It’s probably all Burberry’s fault and now the high street have caught on. I have to say I do love a print, last year it was polka dots and I guess this year it’s hearts. I decided that I wanted a heart print blouse, but I couldn’t seem to find one anywhere. I loved the versions in Topshop, but at £36 a pop, it was more than I could justify really. Also my size never seemed to be in stock. Obviously everyone else has heart fever too. However New Look have come to my rescue with my heart print mission.
Blouse: New Look
New Look have really been bringing it with their A/W collection. I wasn’t a fan during the summer, but now, I have to stop myself from doing a Dale Winton supermarket sweep run whilst in store. It’s terribly tempting to me to whip out my debit card. However I couldn’t resist making a order when I spotted this berry heart print blouse at a bargain price of £17.99. I know, I know, that my friends is a steal. I may of ordered a few other things too (whoops) but they’ll be featured in another post soon. This shirt though is perfect, I love the rich deep colour and the material is really nice. It’s not sheer and although the fit is a little over sized, it looks great tucked into jeans. I’ve been wearing it with my black jeans and I’m sure it’ll be a great work outfit paired with a black skater skirt.
So now my heart print craving has been satisfied. I now have a new craving.. tartan. Lucy Watson’s dress on last nights Made in Chelsea has increased my tartan craving that little more! What’s your favourite Autumn trend?
