Okay, so I totally probably should of been a bit more organised with this post, but you know we still have a day before Halloween so it’s kinda still okay to be talking about Lush’s Halloween range for this year. If you’re like me, and want to enjoy Halloween without being spooked well Lush totally has our backs as we can pamper ourselves in frightening fashion, but y’know no worrying about werewolves and ghosts and all that kind of Halloween business.
I have four products from the range to talk about, which if you hurry you can snap up before they disappear out of stores never to return again mwahhaha nah I’m just kidding, they’ll just be taken off the shelves cause Halloween is over, they’ll be back next year. ANYWAY, I am digressing as per.
The Sparkly Pumpkin: This glittery pumpkin bubble bar is back for another year, I remember using it last year and literally getting glitter all over the bath. Totally worth it though. With ingredients such as juniper berry, lime and grapefruit, it smells surprisingly fruity and totally sounds like something that the Witches from Hocus Pocus would make up in their cauldron. You kinda have to get this, even just for instagram purposes cause c’mon look at it.
Lord Of The Misrule: The Halloween bathbomb comes in the shape of this big green ball, what else of course? With more of a spicy scent thanks to ingredients such as patchouli and black pepper oil. Turning from green to a wine red in the water, the bath bomb also packs a punch with popping candy (my absolute fave) being a Halloween Lush classic this bath bomb makes the water feel like you are bathing in actual silk and well just tell me who doesn’t want that.
Nightwing: Next we have jelly soap Nightwing which is in the shape of a bat, which I totally have just realised, dang it if only I knew this before I’d taken these blog photos! Anyways, this is like the blackcurrant wine gum but as a big soap. It’s fruity, aloe vera and lime juice jelly are part of this little guy’s ingredient list and he leaves you all in a big old lather. Of course without doing what an actual bat would do and get stuck in your hair.
Lord Of The Misrule: Now we have a liquid version of the bath bomb above, cleverly named shower scream *ah you guys* this shower wash is perfect for this time of year. It’s a lurid green colour, which I imagine kids would ruddy love and has the same scents as it’s bath bomb sibling. Slightly spicy thanks to black pepper oil and some sweet vanilla too. It also has vitamin E to ensure your skin doesn’t get a fright, and is instead treated this hallows eve.
My favourite product? Has to be the sparkly pumpkin of course, it looks like something straight out of a Disney film and well I love it. Enjoy your Halloween, I will be staying safely indoors with Hocus Pocus and eating all the sweets! Happy Halloween indeed!
