Three Blogging Goals For Autumn

blogging, Blogging goals, blogging advice, Lifestyle,

So these are my Autumn blogging goals, I love posts like these and I love reading them as they usually give me some inspiration for my blog. Kate in my opinion is the queen of these goal type posts, so I hope you don’t mind Kate that I have taken some inspiration from you 🙂

Anyway, I always feel a new sense of beginning when September rolls around. It’s probably because in September the new school year starts so that is why I always feel ready for a fresh start when the 1st of September strikes. I feel that September is even more of a fresh start for me this year, as in August we moved into our new house and I feel now I am finally settled in, so what more of a good time to revamp my blog and YouTube? So here are some things that I want to achieve these next few months and this is also for future me to look back on and be like ‘OI remember what you said you wanted to do? Get on it!’

1. Have A Blog Revamp:

Okay so technically I have just done this, as I have a new blog design which I’m really happy with. I had a few stresses with it, and it’s a long story no one needs to hear, but let’s just say I’ll be hesitant to change my blog template for a while now. I’m pretty happy with it though, I love the fonts, the colours and how my pictures look. It’s hopefully quite easy to navigate and read, but yeah I was feeling a fresh start as I’ve not been overly happy with my blog design for a few months now. As well as changing up the design, I also want to revamp what I blog about, so change some of the stuff up, and maybe start to blog about different things,

2. Post More!

I have been so bad at posting recently, I genuinely feel so guilty for letting my blog and YouTube slip this year. I’ve not been feeling myself for the majority of the year, so it’s been a bit of a weird one, I’ve just not felt motivated and I’ve been battling through an almost cloud of fog in my brain. But for the first time in months, I feel productive and motivated. For the past two days, I’ve sat at the dining table and just typed out post after post and I feel so much better for it. I want to get 4-5 posts/ 2 -3 videos up a week eventually. I know it may take me a while to get back to being organised and posting regular content but I am determined to work so hard this Autumn.

3. Be Happy With My Content:

One of the main reasons why blog posts and videos have been a bit thin on the ground is because I have been so unhappy with them. I’ve been SO bad at comparing myself to other bloggers and this has lead to me not feeling my posts and made me just not want to upload. I’ve been unhappy with my YT for a while, I get so disheartened when I spend so long on a video to see it not do very well or get dislikes. I used to think ‘what’s the point?’ The thing is, I will never continue to grow if I don’t enjoy what I’m doing. So for now I want to forget about the numbers, the views and the likes/dislikes, I want to enjoy what I’m doing. I want to stop comparing myself to every tom dick and harry and be proud of myself. I am hoping that if I’m happier and enjoying creating blog posts and videos then this will show through and people will enjoy reading/watching them. Well that’s my plan anyways.

These are my three main goals right now when it comes to blogging and YT, I also want to up my editing on YT and try to be more creative. I also want to start doing more lifestyle and fashion posts, so if you’re a photographer then please let me know as I would love to start working with photographers on a regular basis to improve my content!
