My Make Up Bag Favourites Right Now

I haven’t done a favourites post in a little while, so I’ve teamed up with Venus to share one with you today. I know I have talked about some of these products before, but these six products are my beauty must haves at the moment

Eyedew Eye Drops: A bit of a random start, but some of the products in my makeup bag aren’t always makeup products. I do use them every single day though, so that’s why I’m going to include them. I love eye drops as they help to make you look like you’ve just had a good ten hours sleep on a bed of marshmallows, instead of a restless five hours tossing and turning. The Eyedew Sparkling eye drops help to eradicate redness, and brighten my eyes. I find that they make my eye make-up pop (I do hate that word, I’m sorry for using it- but it is true!) These eye drops have saved me time and time again from looking like a zombie.

Urban Decay Colour Correcting Concealer: I always have a good full coverage concealer in my make-up bag. Whether it’s for concealing a pesky blemish, or trying to disguise my under eye circles, full coverage concealer is a must. One of my current faves is the Urban Decay Colour Correcting Fluid which I have in light pink. This helps to brighten up my under eye area completely and is super creamy and blendable.

Gillette Venus Swirl Razor: I always think that a good razor is a must have for your beauty bag, as you never know when you might need one for a quick touch up. I’ve been shaving for a good ten plus years, and Gillette Venus are my go to razors. At the moment I love the Venus Swirl razor, it  gives me the closest shave and the smoothest legs thanks to its Flexiball technology. The clever FlexiBall allows the razor to move with the contours of  your shape so that tricky areas like the knees are easier to navigate. This means fewer missed hairs and fewer knicks! Having tried lots of different razors, this is by far my favourite! Whenever I use it, I find myself stroking my legs in awe of how smooth they are and for that reason it has become a staple in my make-up bag whether I am at home, away for the weekend or off on holiday!

Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter: This highlighter is something else, let me just tell you. I have been so obsessed with this recently that I could skip bronzer and blusher quite happily, as long as I’ve got this with me. In fact, I love this highlighter so much that it is already on my Christmas gifting list, as I’m sure my friends and family will love it too. I tend to put some a little on my cheekbones, my nose, and along my brow bone.

Make Up Forever Excessive Lash Mascara: I have been struggling with finding a good mascara recently, but then I found this Make Up Forever one in my samples drawer and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I always think that if you have good lashes, you can skip any other eye make-up product. This mascara really lengthens my lashes (they practically touch my brows when I look up) and it’s also pretty waterproof. Most importantly for a mascara though… it doesn’t go clumpy. Like I said, I’m obsessed with it and I can’t believe I let it sit in my samples drawer for so long!

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil: I am a changed woman, because of this. Yes that’s right, coming from someone who never used to bother with their brows, I now won’t go anywhere without my Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil. I have never been the biggest fan of a brow pencils because I’ve usually found them hard to use as I’m quite heavy handed. However this pencil is literally goof proof, if I can create polished brows using it, then anyone can. It’s my new fave brow product, and I love it that much, I will definitely repurchase it when it runs out.

So these are my current make up bag favourites, I can’t stop using them and I feel pretty content with my make-up bag atm, which is a first for me in a while! Usually, I love any excuse to go make up product shopping!

So tell me what’s your make up bag product must haves right now?
