When you think of beauty tools, you probably think ; make up brushes, tweezers, eyelash curlers right?
You’re probably not thinking ; blackhead remover, tongue scraper or face razor?
I don’t know, maybe you are.
But those three unusual beauty tools are ones that I couldn’t live without.
Blackhead Remover :
I know this is gross and I know that you shouldn’t pick at your skin, butttttt this is probably one of the best ways to do it. Okay I’m totally justifying it, but we all have a guilty pleasure.
This blackhead remover aka a double ended silver stick is perfect for getting blasted blackheads from your nose and pores, although I don’t need to use it as much now (THANK YOU ROACCUTANE) I still keep it pretty close in case I need to get one out. It’s slightly gentler than using your fingers and as along as you sanitize it every use, it’s more hygienic too.
Steam your face before using it to help ease out blackheads, it’s the only thing that’s ever helped me to get rid of them!
Tongue Scraper :
A what now?
I know, I’d of probably said the same a few months ago.
One of my favourite bloggers The Skinny Confidential blogged about these a little while back and I knew I had to get one. I ordered two, one for me and one for Henry from Amazon and it’s been a part of my daily dental routine since.
It’s a scraper which takes off the top layer of gunk on your tongue, yes it’s gross but what’s even grosser, is that the gunk was originally in your mouth.
It helps to freshen your breath, eliminate bacteria and also ensures you won’t suffer from that ghastly white tongue – blergh.
I couldn’t be without one now, and can’t believe I didn’t used to use one!
Face Razor :
It’s a very quick, pain-free way to remove excess facial hair and it doesn’t grow back thicker or darker- trust me.
I used these when I was on roaccutane as I couldn’t wax my top lip and it didn’t irritate my skin at all.
They are great for using when you don’t have much time, which is a god send like for someone like me, who could be a cast member of Teen Wolf at times.
These three beauty tools are all major beauty bag staples for me, and however dramatic it sounds, I couldn’t live without them.
Do you have a weird beauty tool that you swear by? Let me know in the comments!
