5 Ways To Style A Graphic Tee

The graphic tee trend is not going anywhere soon, and I’m quite glad as I think they’re a good thing to have in your wardrobe and I ruddy love mine!

However, I used to think I wasn’t cool enough for a graphic tee, but let me tell you, if I can wear one and feel cool in one, then you definitely can as I’m for sure one of the un- coolest people around!

There are so many nice graphic tees around at the moment, my faves have an almost vintage vibe to them, so a slightly worn graphic, faded colours, as if you’ve just found one at a vintage store rather than on the high street.

They’re also super easy to style too, and I think can look quite chic when paired with certain things.

So today, I thought I’d talk through some of my fave ways to style a graphic tee and share some that I currently have my eye on.

Look 1 : Casual Day to Day Grabbing a Coffee / Going To The Cinema

So the easiest way to wear a graphic tee is with some jeans, skinny jeans, Mom or straight are all styles I’ve paired with my fave graphic tees and then add some pumps such as Vans, or Converse or some black boots (depending on the weather)  and you’ve got a pretty effortless but cool outfit. If I’m wearing a slightly baggy jean, I’ll tie up my tee to make it more cropped as I think that looks cute. Also swap for denim shorts when it’s warm outside.

Look 2: The Printed Skirt

Totally nabbed this idea from Sophie Milner who is queen of a graphic tee and printed skirt. It kinda shouldn’t work, but kinda does. Also works for a midi skirt too!

Look 3 : Summer Day To Day (Think Going To A Theme Park)

Basically look 1 but with denim shorts for when it’s warm outside. The perfect casual day-to-day outfit, this is my go to for a theme park day out as its super comfy and easy to wear!

Look 4: Girls Night

You know when you’re going out, but only for a meal and a few drinks and you don’t want to go all out, but don’t want to be casual? Or even if you’re going out out and don’t fancy a dress or what not? Well this is one of my fave outfits to go to, which I always feel really good in! Pair a tee with a leather skirt and killer heels and you have the perfect girls night out look. You could also swap the skirt for jeans too!

Look 5 : Dress It Up

If you’re perhaps after a more chic-er look for your graphic tee, throwing an oversized blazer over the top will add a different look which is perfect for when you want to look chic but still be comfy.

So there are 5 ways to wear a graphic tee and how I usually style them 🙂

I’d love to know if you wear graphic tees and how you style them up?
