It’s October everyone!
Spooky season is officially upon us and I am excited. I love this time of year, and of course *lowers voice* we’re on the home stretch to Christmas!
I know, I know, I said it, but there we go.
I love cosy snuggly days and what is better to snuggle up with on a rainy grey day than something seasonal to watch on the telly?
I thought I would compile a list of my favourite things to watch at this time of year, I would also love to know your suggestions, so please leave them in the comments below!
But if you’re looking for something to watch this October then I totally have your back :
Gilmore Girls – The cosiest autumnal watch, like drinking hot chocolate on a cold day. Binge all seven seasons on Netflix this Autumn.
One Tree Hill – This has finally been added to Prime, and it’s a perfect cosy watch, very early 00’s, always seems to autumn and full of ridiculous storylines – my favourite.
Stranger Things – A little creepy, sci-fi-y and set in the 80s – perfect for the run up to Halloween.
The Great British Bake Off – When GBBO comes on, you know it’s officially Autumn. Wholesome viewing perfect for snuggling up to on a week night with a treat.
The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina – A twist on the original and a bit creepier and darker too. Absolute perfect October viewing.
Hocus Pocus – The ultimate spooky film perfect for a Sunday afternoon in the lead up to Halloween.
Casper The Friendly Ghost – A favourite from my childhood, family friendly and so cute with a little spook perfect for October.
The Addams Family – A must watch for me each October, mainly for my love of Wednesday Addams.
When Harry Met Sally – perfect autumnal cosy 80s romcom 😍
Any Harry Potter Film – I don’t care that I’m 28 – I’ll never not love Harry Potter and Autumn is the perfect time to watch Harry, Ron & Hermione.
I guess any scary films – Okay so you’ve probably guessed, I’m a massive baby when it comes to horror films, I tend to avoid them. But obviously now is the perfect time to catch up with your favourite scary film.
And there we have it, some suggestions for cosy October viewing, let me know what your fave thing is to watch during the lead up to Halloween!
